I can visit weekends, but I guess most people are busy with family on weekends.
And sadly, online play-by-post is not popular these days. Though it may be revived with some new tools on KickStarter and the prevalence of Tablet computers.

Suprisingly aside from my Game every other Saturday and Every other Friday, I tend to not be busy on weekend as my spouse works weekends and my daughter visits my mother.
So possible (altough difficult as I'm over in North America).
